I did a bit of work on the Steadmans of Westmorland and Cumberland counties in England. I have been able to document the famous Wrestler George Steadman who is part of that family. This family line still needs more work.
Another large project was an update of the Steadman family of Block Island, Rhode Island. This involved some updates to many of the other Rhode Island Stedman families. Still much more to do there.
I have begun to introduce my Badge and Group technology. I first need to get all of the badges setup properly and that is now done (I hope). I will start adding them to the appropriate people. The Groups will identify such people as were veterans of various wars, members of particular Stedman families, members of particular DNA families, Mayflower and Rev War Descendants, etc. This is an on going update as I re-work a particular group. Please feel free to send me updates so I can get your families properly Grouped.
Another general update I am working on is adding links between a person’s profile page and their profile page on FamilySearch and FindaGrave. I’ve added hundreds of links this update. I warn you that FamilySearch has recently updated their links and my software has not been updated yet. Soon…
